Sober-Up Shelter
Sober-Up Shelter
The Sober-Up Shelter provides a safe, supportive space for people who are intoxicated and need a place to stay overnight.
Participants receive a light meal, a bed, access to showers, clean clothes, and a place to rest. In the morning, they are offered breakfast, a cup of tea, and time to yarn with staff before heading home.
Delivered by a caring, professional team, the service is non-judgemental and culturally safe. Operating since 1996, it is KWAC’s longest-running program, supporting community wellbeing for nearly three decades.
